English Language Requirements for Executive Officers

Applicants must submit copies of certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language results and/or academic qualifications stated below, otherwise their applications will NOT be considered.

1. For applicants who graduated from university in or after 2003:
   1. Overall result of at least 6.5 and the component “Writing” with a score of not lower than 6.5 in the same sitting in the Academic or General Training Module of IELTS; OR
   2. Any one of (a), (b) or (c) in TOEFL below:

2. For applicants who graduated from university before 2003, the following qualification will be accepted as the equivalent of paragraph (A)(i) or (ii):
   Grade “C” or above in Use of English in HKHLE or HKALE, with a score on the Writing paper not lower than Grade “C” (where applicable).
